The December 3, 2008 meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals has been cancelled.

Luminaria and Christmas Tree Lighting at Village Hall, Friday, December 5th, 6:30 p.m.

Village Offices will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, December 24-25, 2008 for the Christmas Holiday.

Residents can get tips from NICOR on making your home energy efficient, managing your winter natural gas bills, a guide to energy conservation and information on the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) by clicking here.

Disaster Assistance:  Streamwood homeowners, renters and business owners that sustained losses or damage due to the September 12-14 rain may be eligible for disaster assistance.  Call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or apply online at www.fema.gov.  (For those with speech or hearing impairment TTY:  1-800-462-7585.)  The deadline to file an application for physical damage is December 2, 2008.

Beware of Requests for Donations - The Streamwood Police Department has been advised that the Illinois Council of Police and Sheriffs (ICOPS) is soliciting residents for donations and indicating that the donations benefit the Streamwood Police Department.  The Streamwood Police Department does not solicit donations, nor encourage donations to any police related organization.
