Do you have a green thumb? Enter your garden and show us what you are growing this summer!

The contest is open for the amateur gardeners/residents of Streamwood. There will be one winner for each of the six categories: porch, balcony, or container garden; shade garden; vegetable/herb garden; perennial garden; outdoor oasis, and senior (age 65 and older) garden. Each entry will be judged on the following criteria: general neatness and appeal; natural or formal layout; use of color; variety of plants; creative use of garden hardware and art, and sustainable features and methods used.

You may only enter under one category and must submit three current photos of your garden. Six winners will receive a “Golden Trowel” award, a garden sign to display, a Village of Streamwood swag bag and of course, bragging rights!
