METRA Commuter Trains
The Village of Streamwood is served by two Metra Commuter Train Stations in Bartlett and Hanover Park. The Bartlett Train Station is located at Oak and Railroad Avenues in Downtown Bartlett. The Hanover Train Station is located at Barrington Road and Lake Street. The Metra Commuter Train provides transportation to downtown Chicago, through historic Union Station, and other suburbs along the line.
Both stations feature daily and quarterly parking as well as Kiss-n-Ride drop-off and bicycle parking. Daily parking is $1.00 and payable at the lot; quarterly parking permits are available at Hanover Park, (630) 372-4200, and Bartlett, (630) 837-0800, Village Halls.
Bus Services
Streamwood has one fixed Pace Bus Route 554. It serves Elgin, Streamwood, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg. The route runs from the Elgin Transportation Center to the Northwest Transportation Center by Woodfield Mall. This route does serve the Hanover Park Metra Station (Church and Lake), as well as the Hanover Park Village Hall, and St. Alexius Hospital. Service is roughly every 30 minutes during the morning and evening rush hours, and every 65-75 minutes in the mid-day. Saturday service runs every 70 minutes during the day.

TIDE Program (Transportation keeps Individual with Disabilities Employed)
Hanover Township offers the TIDE Subsidized Taxi Voucher Program. Eligible residents that are disabled may purchase vouchers at half the cost of a taxi trip to or from work or job training sites. For more information, contact Hanover Township at (630) 837-0301.
