Misdemeanor, Felony, and Traffic Court

Misdemeanor, felony and traffic court proceedings are held by the Third (3rd) Municipal District Circuit Court of Cook County, located at 121 Euclid Avenue, in Rolling Meadows. See map below.

Court dates for the 3rd Municipal District are maintained by the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Date and time for court can be verified by calling 847-818-3000.

Local Administrative Hearings

Administrative Hearings, also referred to as local adjudication, are held at the Streamwood Police Department on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, at 4:00 pm, by a licensed attorney. These hearings are for civil violations of Village Code. Hearings may be held for matters such as non-moving traffic violations (i.e. parking tickets), local ordinance violations (i.e. shoplifting), nuisance and code enforcement cases, fire, building, and health code infractions, unlicensed businesses, truancy, underage curfew, tobacco and alcohol violations, disorderly conduct, trespassing, or the automated red light enforcement program, among others. 

Freedom of Information Act requests can be made in person at the police department or online. Please visit the Village Clerk's section of the website for more information.

A person is considered "missing" when his / her whereabouts are unknown and unexplained for a period of time that is regarded by knowledgeable parties as highly unusual or suspicious in nature.

Call 911 or go to the Streamwood Police Department immediately. There is no waiting period for reporting a missing person.

The Streamwood Police Department has a policy that provides guidance for complying with the Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 (PREA) and the implementing regulation that establishes standards (PREA Rule) to prevent, detect and respond to sexual abuse, harassment, and retaliation against prisoners in the Streamwood Police Department Temporary Holding Facilities.

The Streamwood Police Department has zero tolerance toward all forms of sexual abuse and sexual harassment. The Department will not tolerate retaliation against any person who reports sexual abuse or sexual harassment or who cooperates with a sexual abuse or sexual harassment investigation. The Streamwood Police Department will take immediate action to protect prisoners who are reasonably believed to be subject to a substantial risk of imminent sexual abuse.
