Contractor Registration
All contractors performing work in the Village of Streamwood are required to register by completing our registration process and submitting all required supporting documentation. The Village offers convenient online submittals using our Citizen Self Service portal. License application forms and documentation can also be sent by email to communitydevelopment@streamwood.org.
Licensed Contractors List
A list of all contractors currently registered with the Village as of October 4, 2024, is available by clicking here. The list is sorted alphabetically by contractor type. You may search for a specific contractor type or name using Ctrl F or the search function.
Please note that contractors are licensed annually and some required documentation (insurance, certifications, etc.) may expire during the license year. Community Development Department staff will check all contractor information as part of a building permit submittal and ensure all documents are up to date prior to issuing a building permit.
Please also note that licensing by the Village does not indicate a recommendation or endorsement. The Village encourages you to get multiple quotes, check references, or contact the Better Business Bureau for further information. Please contact the Community Development Department at (630) 736-3843 or by email at communitydevelopment@streamwood.org with any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: The State of Illinois requires contractors, property managers and others paid to replace windows or renovate residential houses, apartments, and child-occupied facilities, built prior to 1978, to be certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to protect children from leaded dust that may result from disturbing lead-based paint. For more information, please call the Illinois Lead Program at (217) 782-3517.
