The Village wants to ensure that all property within the Village is held to the same rigorous standards. This includes property that is vacant. Whether a home is vacant because it is for sale, rent, or as a result of foreclosure, the Village is committed to ensuring that the property is properly maintained.

The Village asks all owners of vacant property to register their dwellings with the Community Development Department. This is an important protection for the property owner, as well as the community as a whole. It is vital that the police and fire departments are able to reach a property owner in case of an emergency. Register vacant property today!

Registration is simple! Complete a Vacant Property Registration Form and return to the Community Development Department.
