The Streamwood Police Department Records Division is staffed every day from 6:00 am - 10:00 pm, and is responsible for maintaining, processing, and storing police records. In addition, they process subpoena, expungement and Freedom of Information (FOIA) requests.

The team consists of a supervisor and 8 police services clerks, who provide assistance to the public and officers while serving at the front desk of the police department lobby.

A non-emergency voicemail is available during unstaffed hours

Overnight Parking

Due to the restriction of no parking on village streets between the hours of 1:00 am and 5:00 am, residents can obtain overnight parking permits for guests to prevent their vehicles from being cited. Permits are available free of charge. However, only 5 permits may be issued per address per year. The permits allow parking for up to 3 days, for an unlimited number of vehicles. To obtain an overnight parking permit, you may call the department at 630-736-3700, or visit the police department. Vehicle information (make, model, and license plate number) for your guests is required along with a valid phone number in case of questions or concerns.
